Alex Steven Vanburen is a Doctor of Jurisprudence and member of the Federal Court Bar for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the Bar of The Supreme Court of Tennessee. He has been a resident of the Tri-Cities region for over 20 years and is a graduate of Emory & Henry College, located in nearby Emory, Virginia.

Mr. Vanburen is the founder and managing attorney of the Vanburen Law Firm. As both an attorney and a long-time small business owner, Mr. Vanburen possesses a thorough understanding of the legal challenges faced by corporations, sole proprietors, contractors, and medical professionals in today’s highly litigious society. He has represented hundreds of clients in civil and criminal matters, with a notable record of success in both State and Federal Court.
